100 Days of Resistance

Holly Meadows-Smith

"The biggest lesson of Trump's first two weeks: resistance works" - Matthew Yglesias, Vox.

This is a live document that will continue to be updated until April 29, 2017.

100 Days of Resistance tracks and reports actions taken by the Trump administration beginning on inauguration day and following through until the last of the first 100 days. More importantly, however, the project captures resistance actions taken in response to the many blows Trump has dealt. Given the vastness of reaction, this is by no means all encompassing and resistance is broadly defined - memes, boycotts, and protests are all considered. The aim is to help inform people on the national political changes, while appreciating efforts and successes made against the government.
Since Trump "took power," many resources to keep track of his activity have appeared. Holly has used many of these resources to supplement her own work watching news stories come in. These sources are cited next to mainstream media outlets on the first page of the zine to represent the value in digestible citizen reporting during this turbulent time of dangerous, rapid-fire government action. That said, all stories are fact checked against reputable news sources (based on Holly's definition of reputable).

Stay informed and stay motivated, y'all.
