r/analog

Born from the loyal and talented members of the r/analog subreddit comes this first collection of work, featuring over 200 different members and including themes from portraiture to landscapes. We feel lucky to be a small part of something this beautiful, and would like to thank the Reddit Community Fund for helping it to come to life in printed form.

Available for a short time (while supplies last), Analog Photography. All cost goes to our storage/handling and shipping of the 500 book run.

Thank you also to Joel Wiegand for spearheading this project and for being wonderful to work with!

Zines will begin shipping from Oakland (CA) mid-November to arrive before the holidays.

Revisit last year’s fest!

NYFlea!

SPF is co-presented by BOMB Magazine and Brooklyn Public Library–BPL Presents.

Small Press Flea (SPF) makes its return to the steps of the Brooklyn Public Library's Central Branch at Grand Army Plaza for another beautiful August day with your favorite local publishers and magazines.

This year's SPF promises to provide your end-of-summer beach reads, sweet deals, and cold treats while you fill your totes. And we have a couple of perfect summertime partners for this year's fair: The Social will be on-site to offer ice cream (while supplies last), and BOMB will be cutting up some watermelon at our booth! Plus, poet and artist Hannah Eve Rothbard will present her "Air my Dirty Laundry" installation, a collection of hand-dyed garments embroidered with lines of poetry.

Rain or shine, unless it’s pouring, 10AM–4PM. We'll see you there.

Participating publishers:

3 Hole Press, 53rd State Press, A Public Space, The Baffler, Belladonna*, Birds, LLC, Black Sun Lit / Vestiges, BOMB, Common Notions, Dancing Foxes, DoubleCross Press, Hanging Loose, House of SpeakEasy, Inpatient Press, Irrelevant Press, McPherson & Company, n+1, Nightboat, OR Books, Pioneer Works, Poets & Traitors Press, Radix Media, Restless Books, Secret Riso Club, Seven Stories Press, Small Editions, Song Cave, The Quarterless Review, Ugly Duckling Presse, Verso Books, Wave Books, Wendy’s Subway, Wonder, Zone Books

Only at SFABF

We are so proud to debut Soliana Habte’s book, Save Your Selves this Thursday at the San Francisco Art Book Fair!

It is a beautiful case bound, 118 pages of commentary, color, photography, poetry, identity and healing.

sol1ana creates richly textured self-portraits, sculptures, films, paintings and collaborative group exercises to activate ancestral, futuristic patterns of freedom and conjure Afro-presence

they learned how to paint on rocks and socks in the backyard as a child in Kingston, observing how colors go together and the way air can smell and feel

a Black, Ethiopian, American, Afro Futurisitic, Queer, Non Conforming alien being, sol1ana is not subtle but they are at home on earth

they would like the right to exist peacefully, but recognizes that their existence is inherently extractive

this is their first book

Through The Void

✨New zine alert!✨

This zine contains scans, transcriptions, and documentations of the journal the author kept throughout their antidepressant treatment at a ketamine center in Brooklyn. Their hope is that you use these pages as your own form of therapy. Write reflections, diagram your thoughts, doodle, collage. Tape, glue, post it, sticker all over it. Make it your own. And next time you're in your own void, maybe this can help you through.

Jezz believes that personal transformation is a practice of collective change.

Based in New York City, they explore the intersections of self care and community care through their writing, performing, speaking, and facilitating.

You can learn more about them at jezzchung.com and @jezzchung across social media.
