We made a new zine! It's actually entirely by Jesse Prado, he just doesn't know it yet!
A collection of our favorite tweets of his, wrapped in a soft touch cover and made with lots of love. All proceeds go straight to man himself. If you're looking for some dry, not laugh-out-loud content check this one out!
Coming soon to a Wolfman Books near you. 50 pages of life affirming content put together by Ali Giordani.
5.5x7.25, blue spiral bound on 100% PCW Recycled 70lb Ingenuity text and 80lb French Paper Construction Brick Red Cover.
"Press Play is a book and music fair celebrating the merits of independent publishing and the dissemination of the arts through publication, recorded sound, and their expanded mediums."
We're starting off August with a jam packed weekend at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn.
Friday Aug 3, 7-10pm: Opening night concert with sounds from members of Girlpool, Palehound, Discwoman, and more
Saturday Aug 4, 12-11pm: Press Play Fair, featuring zines, books, panels, workshops, discussions
Saturday Aug 4, 7-10pm: Closing night concert with Sun Ra Arkestra
Sunday...we'll probably decompress at the beach if the rain ever stops
Blue Garden is a small collection of cyanotype scans done by Coco Spencer. This zine is a 5x7 12-page size riso printed in blue on fancy Colorplan paper! They're all scored and folded, now time to try to sew these babies...wish us luck!
Mollie's got something in the works.
Palmistry, Crop Circles, and Astrology are completed. What should be next? Pyramids? Handwriting analysis? Conspiracy theories??
The idea is: different paper colors, two different riso ink colors, all the same size/folding/layout but a small learning experience (for myself and hopefully also the reader!) $3 each and eventually a pack of 5 or so for $10.
FYI we had a great time at #PMZF last weekend! We met great people, had some drink(s) and hung out in the beautiful backyard of Pete's Candy Store.
Looking for something to do this weekend? We're got ya covered!
SATURDAY
We'll be tabling this year's PMZF! Come hang out.
SUNDAY
The 2nd annual Queens Craft Brigade! Now with a zine/small press section! We'll have some of our favorites there along with over 30 NY crafters.

If you live in the East Bay you know ISSUES Magazines.
They have been off of Piedmont Ave. for 11 years and have been the go-to hub for magazines (popular and rare), used books, and print enthusiasts for over a decade. With changing times come changing business, but it is important, if not vital, to keep stores/families like this alive. Issues was happy to sell a large selection of our zines and has such an awesome, thorough selection of indie publishers and makers (crafts, jewelry, cards). If you have the means we highly suggest you check out their Indiegogo. Donations go directly to their move/survival and are rewarded with dozens of cool offers, including but not limited to movie tickets, signed books, original art, ISSUES swag and more.
Please do whatever you can to KEEP ISSUES IN OAKLAND
Thank you <3
A Zine About Queerness and Grief
out this week
thank you to hannah and thank you to nicole for trusting us with this beautiful tender body of work
printed on 100# French Krafttone Memo Orange, and 70# Accent Opaque Digital Warm White.
hey there, mollie here. i am working on a series of mini 8-page folding zines that will be released initially one by one then eventually as a set. the package will be called "superstitious" and will have 4-5 zines on "fringe" topics of my choosing! all are of course very rudimentary, but hopefully you can learn a bit about something ~outlandish~ and cool.
the first of the set is out now, PALMISTRY; An Introduction. the backside foldout poster is a compilation of hands photos sent to me by friends and strangers over instagram dm.
riso printed in brown and black on 70lb sunflower environment fiber text, folds to ~3x4.25.
check it out. $3 each and eventually $10 sets.
thanks!

Did we mention we're making a Daily?
This is a collaborative effort with Coco Spencer and Akande X to create (or work on creating) a magazine that contains content contributed via an email correspondence every single day. A collage in every sense of the meaning, that reflects group communication and singular existence in the digital age. PURE ART. We are wrapping up Volume 4 and are part way through Volume 5! These will be available in PDF form as frequently as they are executed. Get a glimpse into Coco's creative process, Akande's creative world, and Mollie's ability to meld it all together in vibrant 11x17 spreads of chaotic long distant communication excerpts long and short.
