Paper Bag Printer

Hi!

We are working on zineS, a calendar (wow cool), riso prints (we took a workshop it was so fun!), and at this very second, BAGS! We can do big, small, red, green, yellow, purple, you get the idea. If this weird something is something that interests you, you should get some! They're cheap and we'll print you as many as you want!!

Stay tuned for more~

ps- you'll see in on our fancy press page that we added FEDERAL BLUE to our slowly but ever-growing risograph color inventory. we are excited!

Blueprints for Carrie Hott

The Museum of Capitalism opens in Oakland this coming Saturday (June 17, 2017) in Jack London Square — a free museum imagining the end of the complex and oppressive economic system and ideology that governs the world most of us know.

Oakland-based artist Carrie Hott is on the roster of over 60 artists showing work in the pop-up. She will be leading a class titled Light That Elongated the Day, which will explore electricity, artificial light, and its relationship to work, sleep, and finance.

iP printed handouts for Carrie's workshop: digital, blue ink on tan vellum paper — they look great in the sunshine.

Oatfeels: The Tender Issue

We're very excited to be printing for our favorite Oakland lit mag, Oatmeal Magazine! Their latest features risographed blue ink / brown stock covers with pretty pink guts — 60 pages worth!

"Oatfeels: The Tender Issue" is the last from this wonderful crew but we look forward to reading and supporting all their continued individual work. Join them and us at their release party on May 20th at E.M. Wolfman.

"Oatmeal is the kind of friend who makes you tea and brings you chocolate and texts you, “you are my heart!” when you’re feeling sad, and Oatmeal is all about building self-confidence in artists and validating your feelings and making space for you to heal and thrive and share your heart and make friends. And it’s about having fun and nourishing the world with some wonderful writers’ words."

new year new zine

i know it's really hard but lets take a slight departure from this god awful world that we live in and FEEL SOMETHING GOOD. or feel bad in a good way, i suppose is more accurate.

lets go back... to ****~~~~❤1996❤~~~~****

mollie is putting out a kick-ass zine about a little band she loves called matchbox 20. a lil homage to their debut album, yourself or someone like you, is filled with pictures, and lyrics, and feelings, and everything she cares for. a lot of rob thomas, mostly. this zine is 6x6" glossy greatness filled with not just raw emotions but A CD TOO. yourself or someone like you will be free with the order of this little gem. play it in your car, or try to put it in your macbook and remember that apple doesn't include cd drives anymore, whatever you're into.

100 Days of Resistance

In response to the Trump administrations overwhelming and oppressive activity since the inauguration, resistance efforts have been constant. In 100 Days of Resistance Holly attempts to track and archive these actions, producing a daily snapshot of goings on in the White House, in the streets, and on the internet.

Shouts out to all the other people reporting on Trump's orders in digestible lists and summaries. There's too much going on but it's important to stay informed. It's also important to appreciate the all the work being done in opposition and to be motivated to join in.

The document is a live work in progress updated as often as Holly has the time.

East Bay Alternative Book and Zine Fest 2016!

We will be here on Saturday Dec 10th. All IP zine sales will be donated to victims of the Ghostship Oakland fire through the relief fund. We love you.

We will also be selling pins to raise donation money for Ara Jo's memorial fund. She gave so much to this community and worked hard on this event - we want to support her family as much as we can.

Please send us an email if you cannot attend and would like to receive pins.

Mapping the Ambient Awareness of our Participatory Media!!!!

This zine takes you on Kim Kardashian's journey (not that journey!) leading up to and through the tumultuous and traumatizing Paris robbery. The commentary is good, bad, and definitely ugly. Holly carefully crafts a zine that will make you grimace, anger you, empower you, and leave you reflecting for many nights to follow. pick up this little treasure at your local E.M. wolfman bookstore (and EBABZ!!) come december #imwither #kimk
